Career Technical Education around the world is helping our nation meet the very real and immediate challenges of economic development, student achievement, and global competitiveness.  Iverson Dudley IV, Director of Bessemer City School System’s Career Technical Education, as well as the faculty and staff are committed to providing students with academic, technical, and decision-making skills while preparing them for the challenges of citizenship in our global society.


Bessemer City School System’s Career Technical Education Department is dedicated to operating by the 5 Guiding Principles set forth by the National Association of State Directors of Career Technical Education, and they are:
